About the author

Surnamed Nguyen, living in Saigon, Vietnam, a country with few freedom and no democracy at all, I am a programmer at his late twenties. My native languages is Vietnamese, but I can also use English, French, and a little bit Mandarin (programming languages excluded). Tryst and Tristesse (and their variations and translations) are among my pen names. In this blog I wish to share my thoughts and ideas about everything around, in my country, my planet, and my universe, hoping to find friends and comrades.

My greatest flaw is the uncheckable sense of humour, as I usually tend to make fun of even the most serious topics, and to be able to joke at the gravest situations. That point is worth keeping in mind when you walk through the quagmire of my writings, which is filled with twisted metaphor, metonymy, hyperbole, sarcasm, irony and other distorted figures of speech. And a lot of humour, of course. Advice: read twice then think thrice before believing what I write.
